Technology Development Zones Law No. 4691

The 2001 law that created Turkiye's technopark regime, starting with TÜBİTAK-MAM and ODTÜ Teknokent. By August 2024 it had produced 102 operating Technology Development Zones and 28 TEKMER technology development centres — the physical and tax infrastructure every later cohort was built on.
