- Foreign entrepreneurs (non-citizens / non-residents) with a technological start-up idea seeking logistic and professional support to turn it into a product, and a minimum of two years' background experience in the proposed field; must be accepted into an approved support framework backed by the Israel Innovation Authority. Application includes passport copy, medical certification, certificate of good standing, resume and academic certificates, and a declaration of sources of funds for living expenses.

- Valid for up to ~27 cumulative months on recommendation of the Office of the Chief Scientist / Innovation Authority; run by the Ministry of Economy with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Population & Immigration Authority and the National Authority of Innovation. Applicant need not be present in Israel for the professional examination. Visa-exempt nationals enter on a 30-day visitor permit and must obtain the innovation visa before it expires; holders may work only on their approved initiative.
