- 10-year renewable residency administered by the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA). Pathways include: Property Owners (personal property share value of BHD 130,000+ at time of purchase, can be combined across properties); Professionals working in Bahrain (5+ years employment with average monthly basic salary over BHD 2,000, basic salary only); Resident Retirees (worked in Bahrain 15+ years with average pension of BHD 2,000+); Non-Resident Retirees (average pension of BHD 4,000+); and Talented Individuals (entrepreneurs, researchers/scientists, artists, innovators, athletes and other exceptional talent, subject to a specialized talent committee review). Holders may work for different employers, freelance or start a business without a local sponsor.

- NPRA launched a dedicated official portal (goldenresidency.gov.bh) and hotline (+973 17484000 / +973 17511000) on 10 April 2025. By end of 2024 Bahrain had issued more than 10,000 Golden visas to nationals of 100+ countries.
