- Public-private innovation park network with six main sites (two at ETHZ and EPFL; four regional sites in Aargau, Biel, Northwestern Switzerland and Eastern Switzerland) plus affiliated sites in Central Switzerland and Ticino. The federal government provides guarantees for special-purpose loans so site operators can raise outside capital on favourable terms, and federal authorities lease land with construction rights; operators provide subsidised space, infrastructure and services and access to research institutions.
