Are you passionate about aerospace and sustainability in space? Do you enjoy complex technical systems and thrive in stressful situations? Can you mentally decompose complicated operations methodically into concise steps? As an essential member of the Space Operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and commanding TURION's fleet of satellites in LEO. The primary duties include developing and executing the detailed concepts of operations for our spacecraft as well as helping to build out and automate our Mission Control System. This position requires sound software skills as well as an understanding of spacecraft systems. Monitor, assess, and maintain the operational health of Turion Space’s spacecraft fleet including defining, developing, and executing procedures to update spacecraft configuration, create and maintain alarm limits to alert mission operations of off-nominal spacecraft conditions Coordinate troubleshooting activities in response to satellite and network anomalies Assist in developing the tools necessary to efficiently control a fleet of spacecraft in orbit Identify, investigate, and execute procedures to resolve spacecraft system and subsystem deviations
