We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of parts of the structural and mechanical design of the ENOS vehicle. In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and testing of primary and secondary structures, mechanisms, and hardware that must survive launch, on-orbit operations, and controlled atmospheric reentry. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role where you will guide subsystem integration, mentor junior engineers, and help define Reditus Space’s hardware development practices. Own the design, analysis, and verification of ENOS mechanical and structural systems. Perform structural and thermal stress analysis (analytical and FEA) for flight-critical hardware. Lead material selection, structural optimization, and trade studies for weight, manufacturability, and performance. Develop and release CAD models, detailed drawings, and manufacturing documentation. Define and execute environmental qualification testing (vibration, shock, TVAC, reentry loads). Support integration and test campaigns, working directly with flight hardware. Drive interface control with other subsystems (propulsion, avionics, recovery, payload integration). Contribute to systems
