Develop, validate, and maintain energy models for battery storage and hybrid energy systems. Perform technical and economic analysis of energy storage systems, including savings potential, payback period, and return on investment (ROI). Analyze load profiles, utility tariffs, and market energy pricing to determine optimal system sizing and configuration. Utilize tools like Python and other simulation softwares to model microgrids, solar + storage, and grid-tied storage applications. Support battery degradation modeling to optimize system lifetime and financial returns. Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate real-world performance data into modeling frameworks.
