eBay acquires GittiGidiyor

eBay took 93% of Turkish marketplace GittiGidiyor at a $240M valuation in April 2011, having bought a minority stake in 2007 and completing the buyout in 2016. The first large foreign acquisition of a Turkish internet company, and the exit whose founders went on to mentor and back Getir, BiTaksi, UzmanTV, Modacruz and Vole.
